Our Parish
We extend a warm welcome to all people to join us at Mass.
Whether you have been a regular practising Catholic or not in the past, we welcome you to worship with us on Sunday, and to let us know any ways you would like to contribute to our parish life, or in which we can be of help to you.
Sometimes parents are anxious about the noise their young children may create at mass and our message to them would be “please don’t be”. Children are children and we would rather them be with us at Mass whatever mood they may be in. We have a side chapel specifically for younger children which is soundproof but connected to the Church’s audio system, so they can play while their parents follow and hear the mass.
Our Parish is served by the Pallotine Fathers who are:
Fr. Liam O’Donovan (Parish Priest)
Fr. Tom Daly
Fr. Joe McLoughlin
Please introduce yourselves to one of the priests or a Parish volunteer after Sunday Mass, or during the week, we can’t wait to meet you.
Registering as a Parishioner
Reach out to us by email to tell us a bit about yourself and your journey to our Parish by email.
Please note that some Sacraments such as Baptism and Marriage can not be scheduled until after you have registered as a parishioner at Our Lady of the Visitation.
We look forward to meeting you and joining you in your faith journey.
A message from our Parish Priest, Fr Liam

Our Lady of the Visitation Church gratefully celebrates receiving £20.000 of National Lottery funding to support our parish community groups in meeting the emotional and physical needs of our wider community.
Our Lady of the visitation will be using this funding for upgrading essential renovation in our Parish Centre that sustains our Parish groups to support the homeless’ night shelter, Breakfast Club and other groups.
The new funding from The National Lottery Community Fund, which distributes money raised by National Lottery players for good causes and is the largest community funder in the UK.
part of this, the funder has four key missions, which are to support communities to come together, be environmentally sustainable, help children and young people thrive and enable people to live healthier lives.
National Lottery players raise over £30 million a week for good causes across the UK. Thanks to them, last year (2023/24) The National Lottery Community Fund awarded over half a billion pounds (£686.3 million) of life-changing funding to communities across the UK, supporting over 13,700 projects to turn their great ideas into reality.
